Help our HR department run smoothly and continue to grow as an HR manager/advisor at Rondom
Are you an experienced HR professional who thrives on building a strong HR department? Someone who brings clarity and structure whilst remaining actively involved in day-to-day operations? Are you looking for a role in which you not only provide direction but also work as an HR business partner? Then come and meet the HR department at Rondom, a department and organisation that is rapidly evolving.
Rondom: life runs more smoothly
Rondom comprises various (healthcare) organisations and a large team of (healthcare) professionals from a wide range of backgrounds: from physiotherapists, (mental health) psychologists, lifestyle coaches, podiatrists and occupational therapists to software developers, design engineers, data experts and corporate social workers, who work together every day towards a shared goal: helping people live their lives more comfortably, both physically and mentally.
For us, ‘Lekker lopen’ is not just about physical activity, but also about the freedom to live life to the full, to play sport and to work. In short, it’s about being able to participate in society. We are committed to making physical and mental support accessible to everyone.
What will you be doing?
As HR Manager, you are responsible for the further development and management of the HR department within Rondom. This role involves a combination of building and collaborating. The foundations are in place, but the further structure, cohesion and professionalisation of HR are still very much a work in progress. You will ensure that HR develops into a recognisable department with clear roles, effective collaboration and a solid foundation.
At the same time, you will be actively involved in the day-to-day running of the organisation as an HR business partner and adviser. You will work closely with managers, regional managers and senior management, and will be involved in day-to-day HR issues. Drawing on this practical experience, you will help to further develop the department’s policies, structure and improvement initiatives.
You are therefore constantly moving between:
- managing day-to-day HR operations;
- actively advising and supporting as an HR business partner;
- and continuing to build the HR structure of the future.
What are the duties involved in the role?
- Managing and developing the HR structure;
- Ensuring consistency and quality within HR;
- Advising the board and management on strategic HR issues;
- Building a future-proof HR department;
- Actively contributing to HR advice and personnel issues in practice.
The work involves, amongst other things:
- Leading the future HR teams (HR Services, HR Advice and HR Recruitment, Development & Long-term Retention);
- Setting priorities and direction within the HR department;
- Advising the board and management on staff planning, organisational development and growth;
- Actively contributes as an HR business partner to management and teams;
- Supporting colleagues with HR issues (such as performance reviews, absence and difficult conversations);
- Taking the initiative to handle and manage HR cases;
- Ensuring clear and well-organised HR processes;
- Developing and utilising HR data and reports for management purposes;
- Monitoring of terms and conditions of employment, compliance and legislation and regulations;
- Providing support during organisational changes, growth and any potential takeovers.
Everything to do with HR
At Rondom, we are building an HR department that remains closely connected to day-to-day operations and supports managers. Not a large, aloof management team, but a relatable and committed department that ensures peace of mind, clarity and cohesion. As HR Manager, you play a key role in this. You ensure that the foundations are in place, that processes run smoothly and that there is scope for further development. At the same time, you’ll be actively involved in day-to-day operations, which means you’ll maintain a clear understanding of what’s going on and where improvements are needed. You help the HR team to function as a cohesive unit and make it clear where everyone can turn for support. In doing so, you keep a close eye on the balance between the present and the future: what needs to be properly organised now, and what do we need to ensure the organisation continues to grow into the future.
What do we have to offer?
- A salary, depending on experience, of between €4,211 and €6,584 per month (based on a 36-hour week);
- We believe relaxation and a healthy work-life balance are important. That is why your breaks are paid in full. Based on a 36-hour working week, this means you actually work 34 hours. In addition, this working week offers the option of spreading the 36 hours over four days, so that you can create an extra day off each week;
- A friendly team full of enthusiastic colleagues who encourage one another and grow together;
- Travel allowance or a company car;
- A warm and open culture where your input really counts;
- Good pension accrual: together we are building a future, and that includes your pension;
- Fun team outings, social gatherings and extras that make working at Rondom just that little bit different;
- A working environment where staff health is a priority, with a strong focus on vitality and wellbeing;
- Career progression opportunities and plenty of scope for personal and professional development.
What do you bring to the table?
- HBO/WO level of work and thinking;
- Extensive experience in a broad, senior HR role;
- Experience in managing and developing an HR department or team;
- Knowledge of employment law, HR processes and organisational development;
- Strategic insight and an understanding of day-to-day operational practice;
- Connective leadership and organisational sensitivity;
- The ability to organise and set priorities;
- You switch easily between thinking and doing and enjoy actively contributing to operational tasks yourself;
- Experience with Exact Online, Exact HR or Officiënt is an advantage.
