Moving to the Netherlands? We will help you!
Are you a podiatrist interested in moving to the Netherlands? We are here to help you make the transition as smooth and comfortable as possible. Working and moving abroad is of course very exciting, but it can feel a little scary too. That’s why we make sure you are properly supported from the moment you decide to join Rondom. You don’t have to figure everything out on your own.
We’ll help you settle in
When you join our international team, you will get a buddy who can help you during your first period at Rondom and in the Netherlands. Your buddy will be there to help with practical things, such as finding your way around, getting to know the company and meeting your new colleagues.
We can also support you with important things such as:
- Finding and arranging accommodation;
- Registering in the Netherlands;
- Arranging health insurance;
- Opening a Dutch bank account;
- Getting to know the Dutch healthcare system;
- Getting familiar with Rondom and your new colleagues;
- Learning Dutch through our language courses.
Accommodation in the Netherlands
For international podiatrists who join our team, we can help arrange accommodation in the Netherlands. Our international colleagues often live together in apartments, which is a great way to meet other colleagues, make friends and build a social network when you are new to the country.
The accommodation arrangement is linked to your employment and working commitment at Rondom. In return for the accommodation support, you will work the agreed number of hours for Rondom. We will discuss the exact working hours and arrangements with you before you start, so you know exactly what to expect.
Don’t worry about the language
You don’t need to speak Dutch when you start. A good command of English is sufficient, and Dutch people generally speak English well, so you’ll be able to communicate from day one.
At the same time, you’ll have the opportunity to learn Dutch through the language courses we offer. This will help you feel more comfortable in everyday life and gradually become more confident speaking Dutch at work and outside of work. Our goal is to make you feel at home, both at Rondom and in the Netherlands.
