What is your role and what gives you energy in your work?

As a podiatrist and sonographer, I help people of all ages with musculoskeletal complaints. By listening carefully, carrying out a thorough examination and using ultrasound where necessary, I work with the patient to identify the cause of their symptoms. It gives me energy to help people move again with confidence and without pain.

What is your favourite quote, motto or tip to help people get through life more easily?

Every step forward, however small, is a step in the right direction.

How can you tell from your work that it really suits you?

I find that my job suits me because I enjoy listening, contributing ideas and working together to find a suitable solution. No two patients are the same, and it is precisely that variety and the personal contact that make my work interesting day in, day out.

What do you do outside of work that people might not expect of you?

I love being active, both at work and outside of it. Hockey is my main hobby and I really enjoy playing in a friendly women’s team. I also go to the gym and go for a run now and then. In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and my family.
