Make a difference as an occupational therapist at Rondom!

Are you an enterprising occupational therapist who wants to do more than just provide treatment within traditional primary care? Do you want to spend as little time as possible on administration? Are you looking for a workplace where you can influence your own client base, and do you want not only to provide treatment but also to actively contribute to the growth and development of the organisation? Then we’re looking for you!

With over 300 locations across the Netherlands, you’ll always find a workplace near you. This offers flexibility and a good work-life balance. Curious about the opportunities available in your region? Read on to find out more.

      Rondom: life runs more smoothly

Rondom comprises various (healthcare) organisations and a large team of (healthcare) professionals from a wide range of backgrounds: from (mental healthpsychologists, lifestyle coaches, podiatrists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists to software developers, design engineers, data experts and corporate social workers, who work together every day towards a common goal: helping people live their lives more comfortably, both physically and mentally.

For us, ‘Lekker lopen’ is not just about physical exercise, but also about the freedom to live life to the full, to play sport and to work. In short, it’s about being able to participate in society. We are committed to making physical and mental support accessible to everyone.

      What will you be doing?

You will be working at one of the existing practice locations where other disciplines are already present. Depending on where you live, we will decide together which location(s) suit you best. At Rondom Occupational Therapists, we are still very much in the start-up phase. This means that you will not only be providing treatment, but also actively working to build up your own client base.

      This includes activities such as:

      • Establishing and maintaining contact with referrers such as GPs and other healthcare professionals.
      • Positioning occupational therapy within your region.
      • Providing occupational therapy treatments as soon as clients are admitted.

You are not alone in this: fellow occupational therapists at Rondom have carried out the same tasks and gone through the same induction phase, and they will be happy to support you with this.

In addition, you will spend part of your time on projects and initiatives within Rondom, such as developing care pathways (for example, the Rheumatism care pathway) or contributing to communication and innovation. Your own ideas for improvement are valued and encouraged. You will work independently, but you will be part of a growing team of occupational therapists and other professionals within Rondom with whom you can exchange ideas and share knowledge.

      Everything Rondom Occupational Therapists

At Rondom Occupational Therapists We believe that occupational therapists have a major responsibility within the Dutch healthcare system. The challenges we encounter every day in society motivate us to think creatively and work together to find sustainable solutions.

We do not allow ourselves to be constrained by outdated systems, but actively seek opportunities to innovate and continue to deliver quality. Because it is only when we keep moving forward in our thinking and actions that problems turn into opportunities! At Rondom, we work with a growing, multidisciplinary team towards a single, clear mission: to enable people to live their lives with physical and mental strength for as long as possible. We do this based on the conviction that functioning well opens up more possibilities for both the individual and society. If someone can walk well, they can work, play sport, care for others, socialise and participate.

Our approach to care is broad: we look beyond the symptom to the life a person leads. This requires commitment, collaboration and the willingness to look beyond a protocol.

      What can we offer you?

Rondom Occupational Therapists is currently in a start-up and growth phase. Rondom has been active in the healthcare sector for several years. You will be joining a warm, professional environment where your ideas and personality are valued and influence the organisation’s structure. We work together in an interdisciplinary manner and offer plenty of opportunities for training, growth and professional development. For us, making a social impact is a natural part of care. We also offer you:

      • A varied, challenging role, working between 24 and 36 hours a week, with a great deal of autonomy.
      • A salary of between €3,201 and €4,413 per month, depending on experience. (based on 36 hours).
      • We believe relaxation and a healthy work-life balance are important. That is why your breaks are paid in full. Based on a 36-hour working week, this means you actually work 34 hours. In addition, this working week offers the option of spreading the 36 hours over four days, allowing you to create an extra day off each week;
      • Travel allowance or a company car.
      • A combination of client-related work and project-based work.
      • Innovation is a top priority within our organisation, particularly in the areas of digitalisation and AI, which has led to a reduction in administrative tasks.
      • A friendly team full of enthusiastic colleagues who encourage one another and grow together.
      • Good pension accrual: together we are building a future – and that includes your pension.
      • Several times a year, there are fun team outings, social gatherings and extras that make working at Rondom just that little bit different
      • A working environment where staff health is a priority, with a strong focus on vitality and wellbeing.
      • Career progression opportunities and plenty of scope for personal and professional development.

What do you bring to the role?

      • A higher professional education (HBO) degree in occupational therapy, with registration in the Paramedics’ Quality Register.
      • Good communication and advisory skills.
      • A pioneering spirit and the drive to break new ground.
      • Empathy and the ability to build trust at all levels within and outside organisations.
      • Flexibility, independence and a solution-focused mindset.
      • Knowledge of privacy regulations and confidentiality.

      Will you join us?

Are you ready to put your enthusiasm and proactive attitude to good use within an organisation where a passion for care is central? If so, please send your CV and covering letter to hr@rondomlopengroep.nl

Do you have any questions about the vacancy or the role? Please feel free to contact Rogier via rogier.wils@rondomergotherapeuten.nl or call +31 628184092.

Life really is better when we do it together!

      Best regards, the Rondom team
