When travelling towards a destination, keep your eyes on the road. For the road enriches us as we travel along it.

How can you tell from your work that it really suits you?

When different disciplines come together to create something that no one could have achieved alone. I get a real buzz from helping to devise innovations and developing them together. From bringing different disciplines together and connecting them. In this way, I try to help transform healthcare, so that we make people healthier, rather than simply curing illness.

What do you do outside of work that people might not expect of you?

I love good food and walking in the mountains.
