What is your role and what gives you energy in your work?

As a podiatrist, I try to take a holistic view of the whole person, considering both biomechanical and socio-emotional aspects. In healthcare, asking a few more questions really does yield so much more than just one answer. It brings me joy to see patients I meet again every year.

What is your favourite quote, motto or tip to help people get through life more easily?

"We should learn at school how to determine the correct shoe size".

How can you tell from your work that it really suits you?

Despite my busy schedule, I get a lot of energy from what I do every day for my patients. I’m glad that I can use my knowledge to help athletes, growing children, the elderly and anyone with feet.

What do you do outside of work that people might not expect of you?

I enjoy salsa dancing and I also love spending quiet moments in nature.

No-nonsense, yet takes itself seriously enough to help patients move forward with clear and honest explanations
