What is your role and what gives you energy in your work?

I work as a podiatrist and specialise in ultrasound scans of the foot and ankle. I enjoy really getting to the bottom of symptoms and working with the patient to identify the cause. As well as treating patients, I am involved internally in organising training courses and I teach on the KIPZ ultrasound training programme. It’s this variety – between treating patients, conducting examinations and sharing knowledge – that makes my work so enjoyable.
