      More about me

What is your role and what gives you energy in your work?

I work as a movement scientist at Rondom. I also have a background in (sports) podiatry, which enables me to effectively combine science and practice.

It is precisely that combination that gives me a lot of energy. By applying new insights to everyday practice, we can continue to improve healthcare and help people even better. It really inspires me that, at Rondom, we are actively contributing to the development of healthcare, so that people can live their lives more comfortably, more actively and with greater enjoyment.

What is your favourite quote, motto or tip to help people get through life more easily?

"If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always got."

This reminds me to remain open to new insights. Development never stops; not for me personally, nor for us as a team. By continually learning and improving, we can provide the best possible care.

How can you tell from your work that it really suits you?

Every day, I get to work on topics that genuinely interest me: exercise, health, science and innovation. I enjoy taking a critical look at issues, gaining new insights and working with colleagues to find ways to further improve healthcare. That combination of in-depth knowledge, collaboration and social impact means this work really suits me.

What do you do outside of work that people might not expect of you?

I spend a lot of time sitting at work, even though I’m not really very good at sitting still! So I make up for this in my spare time by always keeping myself busy. I love being out and about: doing sport, meeting up with friends, getting out into nature or simply doing something fun!
