Waiting room: If the patient has an appointment before 09.30, the podiatrist or chiropodist will come to collect the patient at the front door; they may have to wait outside for a moment, as there is a canopy.

What is your role, and what gives you energy in your work?

Podiatrist. As a podiatrist, I help people to move pain-free and more efficiently. This can range from sports-related complaints to everyday foot and posture problems. Analysing the cause of complaints and tackling them head-on in my practice gives me energy.

What is your favourite quote, motto or tip to help people get through life more easily?

Pain-free movement starts with a good foundation!

How can you tell from your work that it really suits you?

I find that this work suits me because I enjoy making connections and genuinely want to help people. No two complaints are the same, and it is precisely that process of piecing things together to find the right solution that gives me a great sense of fulfilment.

What do you do outside of work that people might not expect of you?

In my spare time, I enjoy keeping active through sport and often meet up with friends. I also enjoy a good barbecue.
