      More about me

What is your role and what gives you energy in your work?

As a diabetes podiatrist, I focus on preventing, recognising and treating foot problems in people with diabetes. I draw energy from my personal contact with patients and the difference I can make by helping them keep their feet healthy and improve their quality of life.

I also derive great satisfaction from giving lectures and training sessions on the diabetic foot to both colleagues and external healthcare professionals.

What is your favourite quote, motto or tip to help people get through life more easily?

Prevent where possible, treat where necessary

How can you tell from your work that it really suits you?

The variety in the work and the different people you see every day are what make the job challenging.
