Rondom Foundation

  • About the Foundation

Rondom has long wished to establish its own foundation. And the time is almost here: the Rondom Foundation is set to be officially launched in 2027.

Through the Foundation, we aim to make healthcare, knowledge and support accessible to people who, after covering the necessary costs of daily living, demonstrably have very little left to spend on their health.

In addition, we want to invest in research and new knowledge that will help to improve healthcare and make it more accessible.

With the Rondom Foundation, we are working together to build something that will enable us to be there for one another when needed.

  • Keeping healthcare accessible

Not all healthcare is covered by basic insurance. Some forms of healthcare require supplementary insurance, which not everyone has. Other forms of healthcare, support or medical aids must be paid for by individuals, either in full or in part.

For people with limited financial means, this can mean that they delay seeking care or do not seek it at all.

The Rondom Foundation aims to make appropriate care accessible to people who need it, but who, after covering their essential expenses, have demonstrably very little money left to spend on their health. For these people, the Foundation can cover the costs of the necessary care.

In this way, we want to ensure that they too can access care that helps them to stay healthy, recover and continue to participate in society.

  • Knowledge, workshops and the app

Staying healthy is about more than just treatment. Knowing what you can do yourself, recognising symptoms earlier and understanding what helps can make a big difference.

Rondom possesses a wealth of knowledge on topics including exercise, mental health, lifestyle, feet, work and staying healthy. We want to make this knowledge accessible to everyone as much as possible.

Through the Foundation, we therefore aim to offer free information, workshops and practical tools. We also want to enable people for whom the costs are a barrier to use the Rondom app and other digital support free of charge.

In this way, we aim not only to help people when they need care, but also to give them the opportunity to take charge of their own health.

  • Research and new knowledge

The Rondom Foundation will also invest in research and the development of new knowledge.

We want to continue researching what helps people stay healthy, which care really makes a difference, and where people still face barriers. We also want to support research into new forms of care and digital solutions that can make healthcare better and more accessible.

We also believe it is important that new developments are accessible to as many people as possible, including those who find it harder to navigate the healthcare system or who have limited digital skills.

We want to use the knowledge we gain to further improve healthcare and, where possible, to share it with others.

  • This is how we help each other

For many years now, here at Rondom, we have been associating something special with our digital questionnaires.

When someone takes the time to complete a digital medical history form before an appointment, fill in a questionnaire during a treatment session, or let us know how they are getting on afterwards, it helps our healthcare professionals. We can prepare better, monitor results and use our time more effectively.

For every fully completed questionnaire, we have therefore been donating a sum to a charity for many years.

When the Rondom Foundation is launched, this contribution will go to our own Foundation.

In this way, the time one person takes to help us can contribute to care, knowledge, a workshop or digital support for someone else.

That way, the people who come to Rondom can help each other out a little.

    Rondom Foundation
  • Independent board

The Rondom Foundation will become an independent foundation with an independent board.

The board carefully determines how the available funds are to be spent. Clear conditions will be set out for supporting people and for funding research and other initiatives.

In this way, we ensure that decisions are taken independently and that it is clear how the Foundation’s funds are spent.

  • Start in 2027

We are currently working behind the scenes to establish the Rondom Foundation. We are putting together the independent board, drawing up the conditions for support and determining what knowledge, workshops and digital resources will soon be made available through the Foundation.

The Rondom Foundation will officially launch in 2027.

Through our news updates, we will keep you informed of developments in the coming period. In these updates, we will provide more information about the Foundation, the opportunities that lie ahead and the steps we are taking.

In this way, step by step, we are building a Foundation that will enable us to be there for one another when needed.
