The IJsselstein Diabetes Discussion Café

The Diabetes Praatcafé is an accessible group meeting for people with diabetes. We sit together at a table, with coffee and tea, and talk to one another about an important topic: Check your feet! During this session, there will be a brief explanation. Afterwards, there will be plenty of opportunity to share experiences. What works for you? What challenges do you face? And what helps others in their daily lives? By talking to one another, you’ll learn not only from the healthcare professional, but also from each other. The Diabetes Chat Café is all about: • talking and listening together • recognition and sharing experiences • asking questions in a safe, small group You don’t need to prepare anything. Everyone is welcome to join in in their own way.
